Getting to Know Aoife Hegarty

This month, we’re delighted to introduce Aoife Hegarty, one of our hardworking and much-loved waitresses, who has been an important part of the Gleesons team for an incredible 24 years!

Having spent 24 years as part of the Gleesons team, Aoife has certainly seen a lot of changes over the years and has made many wonderful memories along the way. When asked what she loves most about her job, her answer is simple – working with her friends and being around people.
It’s this friendly and welcoming spirit that makes Aoife such a valued member of the team. Her years of experience and warm personality mean she is always happy to welcome guests and help make their visit to Gleesons an enjoyable one.
Aoife’s Favourites
When it comes to recommending something delicious from the menu, Aoife’s choice is the Chicken Curry – a firm favourite for guests looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.
And what would she recommend to accompany it? A refreshing glass of Sauvignon Blanc wine.
Outside of Gleesons, Aoife enjoys exploring some of the beautiful spots around County Roscommon. One of her favourite things to do is walk in Mote Park, while the Roscommon Park is her favourite place to visit in the county.
24 Years of Memories
After 24 years at Gleesons, Aoife has plenty of memories to look back on. However, when asked about her fondest memory, it was the support of her friends, past and present, that stood out most.
Over the years, Aoife has been part of the Gleesons family through countless busy days, celebrations, conversations and memorable moments. Her dedication and friendship have made her a much-loved member of the team.
We are incredibly proud to have Aoife as part of the Gleesons team. 24 years have flown by, and we’re very lucky to have her!
