Caring for Our Community & Environment

At Gleeson’s Roscommon, we believe that caring for our guests goes hand in hand with caring for our community and environment. For over three decades, our family has cherished this historic townhouse, and we are committed to ensuring it remains a welcoming place for generations to come.

Investing in Renewable Energy

In 2024, we proudly launched a solar energy project at Gleeson’s, installing panels on our historic building. This investment significantly reduces our carbon footprint, allowing us to power much of our day-to-day operations with clean, renewable energy. It’s a step that not only lowers emissions but also reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism in Roscommon.

Community Commitment

Sustainability for us isn’t just environmental—it’s social. By supporting local suppliers, employing local staff, and engaging in community projects, we are helping Roscommon thrive while welcoming the world to our door.nergy pr

Reducing Our Impact

Waste Reduction

From composting and recycling to careful portioning in the kitchen, we constantly look for ways to cut waste.

Eco-Friendly Practices

We are phasing out single-use plastics, choosing greener cleaning products, and improving energy efficiency across the business.
