What a great start to the season. We’ve just been nominated for the YesChef Awards 2022 run by YesChef magazine which is in every kitchen in the country. Wish us luck as we go through the process – first judges come to check us out, then the final decisions in each category are made by a pretty impressive judging panel. It’s a cross section of hospitality professionals, culinary arts professionals, industry experts and media representatives from across the country so we’ll be put through our paces. The eventual winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 31st May 2022.
We’re pretty chuffed by this nomination. We’ve had a good run of awards over the last year, with a Georgina Campbell Irish Food and Hospitality Award winning the ‘Outdoor Dining, Guesthouse’ award. Our outdoor dining and especially the heated bench seats were really popular last summer. We also won a couple of Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Awards which they say puts us in the top 10% of hotels worldwide. We won’t argue with that!
