The festive season is upon us, Christmas markets, celebrations, shopping and catching up with friends and family. Roscommon has everything one might need this December, independent retailers, food stalls and great entertainment.
Roscommon Christmas Festival 11th & 12th of December
The fantastic Christmas Festival with be on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of December in the newly renovated Roscommon Town Square. Over 20 stalls filled with local crafts and gifts, the ideal place to shop and pick a gift for a loved one this Christmas and stop by the food stalls and taste some delicious festive foods.
Live entertainment will be keeping us going this festive weekend, from 3pm enjoy musical performances from the Gig Rig and be amazed by street performances from Gliondar & Roscommon County Youth Theatre and Corveneio’s Entertainment. Make sure to stick around for the unveiling of Joe Caslin’s Art mural and snap a picture of the beautiful crochet Christmas tree in the town square.
