We hope everyone enjoyed the wonderful weekend at Roscommon Easter Festival 2022.
Well done to the organisers for a fantastic weekend of music, entertainment and the parade. It was a great celebration of the 50th year of Roscommon’s Easter Parade and the 100 years since the establishment of An Garda Síochána.
There was a great entertainment in Roscommon’s newly renovated town square with live music from the bandstand. It was a pleasure to meet Matt Molloy who headlined in the Market Square on Saturday. Many great acts performed over the weekend and was enjoyed by all, then with the 50th annual Easter Parade on Sunday with many participants from volunteer and community organisations to businesses. It was a perfect family day out with lots of floats in the parades as the children loved the inflatable characters and the bubble pool in the town square.
